The links
Ad blockers cut a list of sites, and almost every well-known affiliate platform is on it. When that happens, your affiliate's link does not open, or the sale is credited to nobody. With Meritt the link looks like a page of your site: there is nothing to block.
Recommended
One rule to add once, wherever your site is hosted. Meritt gives you the exact line to paste for your platform: Shopify, WordPress, Cloudflare, nginx and twenty-five others.
The middle part of the address is different for every customer, and it never uses a word ad blockers watch for, like track or pixel.
Without touching your server
One line to add wherever your domain name is managed — a CNAME record. Nothing to install on your server, and we handle the certificate. The address stays yours, and that is what the browser sees.
The names ad blockers watch for are refused as you type them: track,
analytics, pixel, tag, stats.
To try it right now
Nothing to do, and that is its only advantage. It is also the easiest to block, so we never choose it for you.
Useful for an hour, long enough to check everything works before wiring up your site.
Meritt recognises your platform, writes the rule with your address already in it, and you just paste it. Then it checks by itself that it works, and tells you what is still missing.
How the sale reaches us
You do not change payment system and you do not add a second checkout. Meritt listens to the one you have, and the sale arrives on its own.
For everything else — Chargebee, Recurly, Braintree, Mollie, Razorpay, or your own server — the sale is declared over the API, in three calls. Sent twice, it is counted once.
Who brought the sale
When somebody clicks, we put a small file in their browser: a cookie. It does not last. It disappears if they change phone, or if their browser has a clear-out. And if you pay a commission on every renewal, that is a problem: a year later, that cookie has been gone a long time.
The click first: a cookie set on your site. Then identity: your server tells us which customer that click belongs to. Finally the payment, which your system ties to that same customer.
Each level is optional. Each one is sturdier than the last.
An affiliate speaking on video or on a podcast has no link to click. They give out their discount code, the buyer types it at checkout, and the sale is credited to them.
One code per affiliate: two codes for the same person would count the sale twice.
An affiliate reloading their own page ten times has not made ten clicks. Bots do not count either: they are discarded before they reach your figures.
And an affiliate who buys through their own link gets nothing.
If your payment system fails to tell us about a sale, it would be lost. A ten-minute outage is enough.
So every night, Meritt re-reads the list of sales at your provider and picks up what is missing.
They get their own screen. You can assign one manually, refuse a commission and say why, or change your mind. Everything is recorded, with your name and the date.
We never change a line, we add one. A refund, a refusal, a transfer that came back: it all reads in the order it happened.
That is what lets you answer an affiliate asking "why this amount" a year later.
Funds go from your own PayPal or Wise account to your affiliate's, never through us, with the invoice.
Commission plans, sub-affiliation, coupons, dashboard, API and webhooks, team and roles, white label, and migration without breaking your links.
A flat price, never a percentage: not of your sales, not of your affiliates' commissions, not of your transfers.
