Affiliate payouts through Wise

A Wise API token, created from a browser, is enough to connect your account. Transfers leave your Business profile for the affiliate, with the document.

What Meritt reads

• The balance of the paying profile, when the account has several: you choose which.
• Each transfer until it is delivered, and the return of a transfer the bank refused, reversed on both sides.
• The details the affiliate saved once: Wise email address or bank account.

Worth knowing

• In the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia, the transfer leaves straight from the app. Elsewhere, Meritt prepares each transfer, amounts and recipients filled in, and you confirm it in Wise.
• Payouts leave from a Wise Business profile.

Setting it up

1. Turn on two-step verification at Wise.
2. On wise.com from a browser: your account → Integrations and tools → API tokens → Add new token. The token is shown only once.
3. Paste it into Meritt and choose the paying profile.
4. Download the public key Meritt gives you and upload it to Wise, under API tokens → Public keys: without it no payout can leave.
