A Rewardful alternative with no revenue cap
Rewardful and Meritt do the same job: work out who brought a sale and pay the person who brought it. The difference is what triggers a price rise. With one, it is your own success. With the other, nothing.
What you pay, on each side
Rewardful sells three plans, and what separates them is not what they do. It is the revenue your affiliates bring you. Cross the threshold, change plan.
| Plan | Listed price | What the price follows |
|---|---|---|
| Rewardful | ||
| Starter | $49 / month | up to $7,500 in affiliate sales a month |
| Growth | $99 / month | up to $15,000 in affiliate sales a month |
| Enterprise | from $149 / month | above that, on quote |
| Meritt | ||
| Starter | $0 / month | until your first commission |
| Pro | $49 / month | no cap on sales, clicks or affiliates |
| Business | $99 / month | that is the ceiling, there is nothing above it |
Prices checked on September 8, 2026 on each vendor's own site. They change without notice: check them before you decide.
The first two rows look alike — $49 and $99 on both sides. The difference sits in the third column. At Rewardful, $49 is what you pay up to $7,500 of affiliate sales a month. At Meritt, $49 is what you pay. There is no "up to".
The tier always lands at the worst moment
A revenue threshold is not crossed in a random month. It is crossed the month a video takes off, the month an affiliate finally publishes the article they promised, the month a campaign works. That is the month you already owe more commission than usual, when your acquisition cost is at its highest and your cash is tightest. That is the month the tool's bill doubles.
The mechanism deserves to be called what it is: a percentage. Not a smooth one — a percentage rounded into steps, which makes it less visible and sometimes more expensive. Between $7,501 and $15,000 of affiliate sales you pay $99, whether you are at $7,600 or at $14,900.
- At $15,000 of affiliate sales a month — Rewardful bills $99, Meritt bills $49.
- At $40,000 — Rewardful moves you to its top plan, listed from $149 and set on quote; Meritt still bills $49.
- In a month where your affiliates sell nothing — both still bill. Unless you have never taken a commission yet, in which case Meritt bills $0.

What Rewardful does better
Rewardful has followed Stripe for far longer than we have, and it shows. The awkward corners of subscription billing — the trial that converts, the mid-cycle plan change and its proration, the failed payment that recovers three weeks later — have been handled there for years, by people who have seen all of them. If your product is a Stripe subscription with a lot of account movement, that is a real argument.
They also have a recognition we do not. A professional affiliate already has a Rewardful account and knows the portal; with us, they are learning a new one. No feature makes up for that.
Moving from Rewardful to Meritt
Let us be exact about where things stand: the automatic import from Rewardful is not live yet. One platform imports file-to-file today, and it is not this one. Inside the product, Rewardful is listed as coming, with a button to tell us it is yours — that list is what decides the order we write them in.
What the import does once it is there, and this holds for every platform: your affiliates keep the code they had. That is the part that matters, because the code is already sitting in videos, descriptions and articles you cannot ask three hundred people to republish. No email goes out during the operation, and you see the result — how many affiliates, how many sales, how much is still owed elsewhere — before anything is written.
In the meantime, nothing stops you running both at once. Meritt's tracking is free until your first commission, on your own domain. You will see on your real links whether the clicks get through, before paying anything and before touching anything at Rewardful.
